How Have You Been Involved?
Cast Member and Dancer.
What Roles Have You Played?
I have been lucky enough to be involved with Hunstanton Pantomime right from the very beginning! When it was clear that there needed to be a Pantomime to fill the void left by the Princess Theatre the tap dancing group I belonged to was approached and so I became part of the trend for a variety of tap dancing characters and dancers. We also provided the dancers for the UV scenes for the first few years. In Robin Hood Norfolk Style 2010, who could ever forget the Tap Dancing Mice doing a routine to Michael Jackson’s Bad! In The Magical Puss in Boots 2011 I was a Tap Dancing Chef, as well as being one of the dancers in the ‘These Boots Were Made for Walking’ UV scene. In Pinocchio 2012 I was a school kid dancing to Baggy Trousers and I led with a bit of Gangnam Style to boot! I was also the giant Octopus in the underwater UV scene. The curtain came down on the tap dancing in the Frog Prince 2013 where I was Pierre the Tap Dancing Frog with a small acting part also. I also helped to create the Frog’s face from a raft of other sea creatures as part of the UV scene. Finally last year I had a principle acting part when I played Smudge, the Landlord’s sidekick in Hansel and Gretel's Big Adventure 2014. I was also the giant dancing skeleton in the UV scene.
Why Did You Join The Hunstanton Panto?
Having been involved in amateur dramatics since I was a boy I was keen to continue it when I moved to Norfolk and who can refuse an opportunity to be a Tap Dancing Mouse!

What Has Been Your Best Moment?
I have a couple to be honest. I know that I mention the mice as a thread through this piece but when we did that first pantomime no one really knew what to expect and it was so innovative. To get the applause from the audience and to see our entire tap group pull it off really was a real buzz. Also, going from a really idiotic lecky to a mad rave dancing monster in Hansel and Gretel's Big Adventure 2014 was also a great feeling.
Your Last Comment?
I have thoroughly enjoyed being such an integral part of the journey that The Hunstanton Pantomime has been on. We have traversed some difficult times but we always have put on a show to a sell-out crowd and I am very proud to behave been a part. I am also looking forward to being a part of it as we enter a new chapter for the Panto!
