We ask Eve some questions.
How Have You Been Involved?
Cast Member.
What Roles Have You Played?
I auditioned in 2013 and got the part of a Lady-in-Waiting’ in their production
of The Frog Prince 2013. Last year I was fortunate enough to get the role
of Princess Genevieve in the Hunstanton Pantomime’s production
of Hansel & Gretel’s Big Adventure 2014.
Why Did You Join The Hunstanton Panto?
I have been part of the John Giller Drama and Theatre Academy for a couple of years and have taken part in numerous shows. Because of this I was interested in moving onto the Panto scene. I remember
watching their production of Pinocchio 2012 and could see how much fun they
were having just as a viewer. This was the moment I decided that I would
really like to be a part of the pantomime and as I knew most of the
cast already I was excited about auditioning. Not only did I audition
but my mum Elaine was also interested in a role, this led to my sister
joining us in the 2014 production of Hansel and Gretel’s Big Adventure.
What Has Been Your Best Moment?
It hard for me to say what may favourite moment is as
there have been so many. Rehearsing has to be one of the best moments as
its such a great laugh and you can always leave with a huge smile
across your face. Performing of course is the highlight of the hard work
that is put into the production and to hear the crowd roar with
laughter really gives you that buzz to go out there and have the time of
your life. The shows are always a great hit and will continue to be
wonderful, and I am just grateful to be a little part of a fantastic
production.

Your Last Comment?
Pantomime is for everyone, what ever age and I strongly
suggest to anyone who is thinking about joining, to do so, as I know for a
fact you won't regret it. We have so many involved whether its cast,
backstage, front of house, young dancers etc. And each of us has an
important role in making our Pantomime the success it is. I speak for
all when I say without John Giller there would be no Pantomime
(director, script writer and Dame) John always involves everyone and
gives young people a chance. We have had many new young actors who have
come along for an audition and have been given the chance to perform,
which is really important to John and all of us as it is a community
event. So to anyone who is looking into auditioning, DO!!
In Which Shows Have You Been Involved?
I have been involved in The Frog Prince 2013, and Hansel and Gretel's Big Adventure 2014.
