We ask Em some questions.
How Have You Been Involved?
Cast Member and for 2014 Front of House Team.
What Roles Have You Played?
My first pantomime back in 2011 I played Puss, in The Magical Puss In Boots, then in
2012 I was Isabella in Pinnochio, 2013 I was Princess Sybille in the Frog Prince who then later turned into a frog herself. Finally 2014 I
played a gingerbread man in a snap shot appearance in Hansel and Gretel’s Big Adventure.
Why Did You Join The Hunstanton Panto?
I have always had a love for drama and I'd seen all the posters around
town for auditions and I thought I'd come down and see what it was all
about. I was only 15 at the time, came alone after my mum had almost
pushed me out of the car and we'll I've never looked back. I was
thrilled to learn after a nervous audition, which was actually a lot of
fun, that I would be playing Puss in The Magical Puss In Boots... And I'd challenge
anyone who loves drama as much as I do to take that jump and audition.
It's been a confidence builder for me and I think it can really be an
escape from teenage life, losing yourself in a character and being with
the team two evenings a week is a big commitment but it's so much fun
that your don't even realise how much you are learning.
What Has Been Your Best Moment?
I honestly don't know how I can pick a best moment... In fact I would say
the buzz you get when that curtains closes and the show is finished,
everyone cheers and waves and there are smiles all round. There's the line
of the song John uses for the curtains and I'm always humming it in my
head 'don’t wanna let you go, never gunna say goodbye boy'... Yes, that's definitely my favourite, but also my saddest moment too because with
every best moment of those curtains shutting we know that we only have
so many more times to perform the show.

Your Last Comment?
My last comment has to mention how much fun we have with the cast and
crew. From front of house staff, to ticket sales, the cast, backstage
and of course our very own Dame Kitty Litter; the director, we are a
team. There's always something to laugh about, inside jokes from lines
that are misread and I'll let you into a little secret, a lot of the ad-libs come from our rehearsals, that with the help of the very talented
John Giller come alive and help make the shows as brilliant as they are.
It's become part of my family's Christmas with my brother Ryan who does the lighting for the whole pantomime and my parents who can be found at the bar, serving you all of course. So here's to another year, another pantomime and I just hope I'm lucky enough to get through my audition to share in the magic of the pantomime for 2015, The Shoemaker And The Elves. In Which Shows Have You Been Involved?
I have been involved in The Magical Puss In Boots 2011, Pinnochio 2012, The Frog Prince 2013 and as a gingerbread man in the song 'I Need A Hero' in Hansel and Gretel's Big Adventure2015
